A research of problems and solutions related to the class management in the relatively weak middle schools in cities plays an important role in not only solving the problems but also improving the teaching qualities in these schools.The writer, through deep researches of the problems, causes as well as solutions to the class management in Chinese courses in XY Middle School in Changsha, found the deficiencies in both precautions and corrections in these schools. The former is exemplified by deficiencies both in constructing favorable teaching environment and class regular management,as well as students' passive attitudes in study. The latter, however, is exemplified by severe behavior disorders among some students and teachers' improper behaviors. The causes can be studied from the aspects of teachers,schools,students,families and society.Teachers in weak middle schools, as a result of low social recognition, conflicts with students, disappointment caused by lack of cooperation with students' parents and other reasons,show grave job burnout and passive attitude towards class management.Therefore,they have no mood for class management. Besides, the teachers themselves are lack of awareness for self-improvement as well as basic understanding of the concepts of class management. Therefore, they are not good at class management. In terms of schools, they find it difficult to supervise resulting from improper teaching goals where teaching is guided by tests, void of specific regulations in class management and necessary training for teachers. In terms of the students, most of them have difficulty in understanding the basic knowledge, bad behaviors, which lead to low interest in learning and high frequence of class disorders. Lack of proper family education, lure from all sorts of social entertainment and other problems bring up barrier for class management.In order to solve these problems,teachers,students' parents should join hands together with schools and the society. Numerous efforts have been made to enhance class management, such as better evaluation of learning results,measures to boost teachers' morale. Based on the existing experience,more new bold ways should be forged such as free minds in management,introduction of specific regulations in class management,training for teachers in class management,trial implementation of small class system and so on. The teachers should adjust their personal attitude, be eager to reform the class management, and improve their levels in class management.Students' parents should create more favorable family environment, cooperate with schools, foster better behavioral habits. The government should, on the one hand, implement fairer enrollment policies; on the other hand, they should better the internet environment which poses the most negative influence to the students.
