The goal of teachers' evaluation is to facilitate teachers' development and enhance teaching efficiency, which is the significant part of school education and necessary measure of school education management. Carrying out efficient teachers' evaluation not only has a pivotal role in realizing the party's education policy and improving the teaching quality, but also has a significant role in strengthening the management of teaching staffs and establishing a qualified teaching staffs. Recently great achievements have been made concerning the teachers' evaluation in both theory and practice. However many problems still exist in a variety of aspects, especially in a great number of Chinese weak middle schools. The scientific mode of teachers' evaluation, the components of the criterion of teachers' evaluation as well as the processing the results of teachers' evaluation has not yet established. This thesis deals with the currently existing problems connecting the teachers' evaluation in Chinese weak middle schools, and offers some solutions and ideas from three aspects.In the first part, the problem is proposed. The weak school is specified. Then the interrelationship between educational evaluation and teachers' evaluation, the influence of teachers' evaluation in weak schools on teaching quality, school education management. Finally, relevant comprehensive quotation on teachers' evaluation is listed.The second part provides a detailed analysis concerning the teachers' evaluation in weak meddle schools through the investigation of four weak middle schools in Huangshi city, Hubei province. Some critical problems like incorrect orientation of teachers' evaluation, incomplete system and unscientific techniques in the actual evaluation process are stated and studied.The third part attaches sufficient attention on ideas and solutions respecting the teachers' evaluation. The following ideas and solutions based on the careful analysis of the existing problems in the second part are offered. That is, the specification of orientation of teachers' evaluation on the basis of current weak middle school situation, the establishment and completion of systems, the adoption of multiplied evaluation methods, scientific analysis of the outcome of teachers' evaluation so as to make the teachers' evaluation workable and the role of principles full play.
