Research On Influencing Factors Of Academic Misconduct Behaviors Of Teachers In Universities And Colleges

The frequent University Teachers' academic misconduct makes its social reputation, credibility and colleges' academic reputation are facing crisis.and the governance strategy proposed by relevant parties for University Teachers' academic misconduct is not satisfactory. To find the real case of the University Teachers' academic misconduct with the empirical research methods and inducing the primary cause and remedying it become more and more important.Because of the special status of university teachers, there are a lot of related research on the academic misconduct of university teachers, but most of the scholars do the normative research, the influence factors of academic misconduct of college teachers based on the normative research need to test by the empirical research.This article through the methods of induction, questionnaires and interviews to collect relevant data, and then with the aid of statistical tools to analysis the current severity ranking of University Teachers' academic misconduct. At the same time, we get that the academic environment of teachers in and the "academic literacy" of teachers are the most important, prominent and fundamental factors to influence academic misconduct, the other two factors of "honor recognition" and "compressive ability" are excluded in. In addition, the tech age, subject type and school type are also the important factors that influence teachers' academic misconduct. On this basis, the paper summarizes the major causes of academic misconduct, such as lack of understanding to the related academic norms, impetuous style of study, the academic system is not perfect and the social supervision does not reach the designated position and so on. Some management suggestions are proposed.Such as the governance to academic misconduct need to endeavor from the big strategy and small exercisable method, using university regulations to guarantee the implementation of the academic system, opening the micro classroom about academic norms and academic moral education and paying close attention to study style construction of the ordinary college and vocational school.
