The title of Chinese text is among the top of the article and above the main body in the text.The specificity of its location determines its lots of value of the available.The paper makes its research scope limited to the junior middle school and makes many Chinese teachers of HeNan province as the main body in the investigation.By means of exploring the analysis of situation,then we put forward optimization strategy in view of the problem.This article consists of four parts.The first part is the introduction,it expounds the background of the origin about the question,the research at home and abroad,research methods and significance.The second part is the outline about the article title and reading teaching,including concept set,the type and characteristics and value.The third part is the investigation of the present situation,we give insight into reading teaching about the title by means of questionnairing lots of Chinese teachers in junior Middle school and making case analysis.From that we find some problems,such as many teachers own the wrong cognitive attitude,the low understanding level and the sole teaching method and so on.We will put forward optimization strategies in view of two dimensions of theory and practice according to the problems of the text title narrative reading teaching of junior high school in the forth part.At the same time we propose some applying principles of following in the conformity with the text content,combining with interests of students and coordinating with the classroom subjects.Firstly,as a teacher,we should be adjusted to the cognitive attitude and set the using consciousness of title.Meanwhile,teachers should open their view of teaching design and broaden the methods of using about text title.Then teachers have to read lots of professional books so that ascending the ability of using title.Secondly,in terms of optimizing teaching methods,we put forward five ways by combining the flexible types and characteristics and using principles.Moreover,we set kinds of typical teaching cases so as to providing some valuable methods of application about the text title of reading teaching in junior high school.Reading teaching should be reach a higher level as the curriculum reform of Chinese.Only to develop in the direction of diversity and flexible,can Chinese teaching keep continuous improvement in the idea of the new curriculum reform.And the resource of the text title in the mining of Chinese reading teaching can be a significant discovery and meaningful trail to the innovation of theories and practices in reading teaching.
