During the period of China 12 th Five-Year Planning, Zhengzhou population aging process further accelerated, by the end of 2015, the city's aging population over the age of 60 reached 1.2 million, and an annual 3.3% rate of increase. Lifelong education theory and the average age of the population growth is booming, vigorously develop the education for the elderly has become cope with an aging society an important initiative. An important part of modern old philosophy of education is no longer limited to enrich the lives of the elderly, but depending on the education for the aged is indispensable to the cause of education, lifelong education system is the essential final stage, and community education as the main carrier of the education for the aged. On the micro level, the development of community elderly education is the basic way to improve the quality of life of the elderly; Macro, the development of community elderly education is an important form for actively coping with the problem of aging of the population. However, how to ensure that each community elderly population with access to community old-age education, how to make each community elderly population actively take the initiative to participate in community old age education to, how to effectively realize the aging population community education for all to share etc., these are still outstanding problems for old age education today.In the perspective of lifelong education, this paper depends on the lifelong education theory, learning community theory and people oriented theory, in Zhengzhou City, researches on a community of retired elderly population. Besides,author based on abundant theoretical literature designs a targeted questionnaire, through the investigation and visits and other forms of field to understand the aged people in a community and the current situation of the elderly education.And the results show that the existing problems were deeply. First of all, the lack of funds is the main bottleneck of the development of the current community education for the elderly, which hinders the improvement of the hardware facilities of the community elderly education, which directly leads to the lack of professional community education for the elderly.Secondly, the management mechanism is not perfect, there is still a lack of appropriate specialized management department. In addition, the community elderly education supply is insufficient, the education content, education time, the place of education activity is obviously insufficient. Further, the community's attention is not enough, publicity efforts are weak, the community's recognition of the community for the elderly needs to be improved. In the end, it is difficult to meet the needs of the old people's spiritual comfort and psychological needs of the elderly in the community.This paper combines the other advanced education of the elderly and learns from their experience and mature theory, according to the actual development of a community of Zhengzhou City, puts forward the basic strategy to promote and accelerate the development of community education for the aged: first, improving community elderly education laws, policies and systems, and strengthen the institutional guarantee; then, constructing smooth elderly community education management system, improve the diversification of funding models, to strength management mechanism and funds guarantee mechanism; Moreover, optimizing the educational environment and human resources support environment, strengthen the education of environmental protection; fourth, improving the residents to participate in identity, developing the old organization, strengthen the propaganda, to advocate family support, strengthening the elderly participation in security; finally, advancing community elderly education into the social public service system, strengthen the implementation of the security organization.
