The Research On Management Of Graduate Degree Dissertation Quality Based On The Theory Of 6 Sigma

Quality is the lifeline of graduate education, the graduate degree dissertations quality is the concentrated reflection of the graduate training quality and level. Strengthening quality management of graduate student dissertations is the proper meaning of graduate education and cultivation mechanism reform. Six sigma management is born at MOTOROLA communications division as a new method of quality management from the original. Nowadays, it has attached more importance to the principal position of the customer, and become a new mode of enterprise development strategy or product design mode of quality management. Therefore, six sigma management is no longer a simple quality management methods oriented production business process, but also a quality management philosophy and management strategy.In this dissertation, the essence of six sigma theory which includes customer orientation, data and fact driven management, process management, preventive management, borderless theory essence of cooperation and striving for excellence, is fit for the management of the higher education quality management. Therefore, introducing six sigma management concept and management method into management of dissertation quality has the feasibility.This dissertation is based on the theory of six sigma management and regards the continuous quality improvement model of DMAIC as the main analytical tool. By constructing a graduate degree thesis quality management flow chart, this dissertation defines the graduate student dissertation quality management related links as the research object. This dissertation also uses empirical analysis method to analyze the graduate degree dissertation quality influence factors according to the self-designed questionnaire which combines existing and mature questionnaire. SPSS 21.0 is the software of data processing and analyzing. Using the factor analysis method abstracts three public factors from eight in composite variable extract which three are the key influence factors of graduate degree dissertations quality, including ability of develop process management, graduate students' comprehensive quality and the graduate matriculate quality. Then, six sigma improves from these three factors and refer to some suggestions. In the end, consolidate improvement efforts through six sigma control stage.
