| As the old saying goes, "everyone has his own advantages and disadvantages" everyone has talent difference and should be individualized. Furthermore, with large-scale enrollment of higher education, the employment situation of university students is increasingly severe, thus the two curves of social demand and supply of human are drifting away. The reason, on the one hand is the rapid expansion of higher education does not take the whole industrial structure of our country into consideration, and cultivated talents can not meet the market demands, and the shortage and deficiencies of vocational education; on the other hand it shows the education streaming system in mainland is not perfect, and education is not able to provide suitable talents to meet the demands of society. Education streaming can allow students with different talents or have different employment tendency to enter different schools, and then engage in different occupations to achieve the purpose of social division of labor, which can not only meet the economic development but also help to maintain social and political stability. Compared with the developed countries (regions) such as America, the Taiwan region and the mainland have the same cultural background and historical origin, so the education streaming system of the Taiwan region has experienced similar problems and difficulties occurring in present mainland in its development process. Based upon this, the education streaming system in the Taiwan region has great directive significance to the practical development of mainland in the same field..This article adopts methods of literature research and comparative study, knows well about research literature, related policies and systems of cross-strait education streaming, classifies and analyses the collected data. This research always focusing on the method of comparative analysis. First of all, it will be helpful for us to understand the development process of the Taiwan region’s education streaming system in details with the historical development of that both in the mainland and the Taiwan region. Then, according to the specific collected data, we can analyze the education streaming system from the distribution, the way of streaming and the curriculum both in mainland China and the Taiwan region. Secondly, to explain the reasons for the system formation from political, economic, social and cultural aspects. At last, I, through comparative analysis, found that the education streaming system in our country is mainly influenced by the following factors:First, the concept of "entering a higher school first" causes the intense competition in higher education; second, "college entrance examination decides one life" increases the academic burden on students; third, the backwardness of vocational education to "secondary education" in educational stream; fourth, educational stream is set too early for part of the students to get their opportunities to go to a school of a higher grade; fifth,. the fuzzy educational concept derived the unreasonable curriculum.This article suggests the following several aspects to improve and perfect the education streaming system in mainland:change the inherent concept of the cognition of vocational education, guiding the individual streaming; diversify evaluation system to shake off the "college entrance examination decides one life" system; develop the vocational education to better the path to vocational education; optimization of the curriculum, improve the curriculum system; establish comprehensive high schools to delay the education streaming. |
