With the rapid development of city economy, efforts in promoting balanced education is increasing, many city residents' desire to develop high-quality private education has become stronger and stronger. The normal demand for diversified education is also the demand of a city. Dongguan City as a city with a large floating population, its private education started early, the development is of a large scale. Up to now, the city has opened private schools of all levels to meet the needs of diversified education for local residents and floating population. Urban private boarding primary schools and private boarding secondary schools have their particularity of the school, so this study is based on reviewing the literature on private education research, meanwhile adding the boarding education to explore. With the background of urban private primary and secondary boarding school education, this paper takes Dongguan Tung Wah Junior Middle School as a case of the representative private boarding school, adopting the mode of field research, showing the current situation of the development of the urban private boarding schools comprehensively, which includes the successful experience, on the basis of analysis of the existing problems. Finally, the formation of the existing empirical analysis and case support, and the outcomes of the operation model.The main contents of this study are:(1) the research shows that the private school is the development of education mode in the city, which plays an important role in the education of the population in city. In fact, in the developed areas of the city, to promote the education competition held in private schools, is to accelerate the pace of ascension in the area of education. In private boarding schools,there are strict management, from getting up, eating, exercising, having class, extracurricular activities, evening self-study to bed time. A day of activities have a strict schedule, to cultivate students' self-care ability and independence, to play an important role in developing a regular life habits. (2) But at the same time, we should also clearly see that the development of private boarding schools in cities is facing a series of outstanding contradictions and difficulties. Private schools have also been doing scholar of philosophy, ideological level, some private boarding schools over emphasis on economic profit and ignore the education itself is a public welfare undertakings the fundamental starting point, one-sided pursuit of high scores on the brand effect, curriculum arrangement exists unreasonable. The school uses the convenient condition of boarding system to press the normal rest time of teachers and students, which does psychological and physical harm to the teachers and students. (3) from the school characteristics, management mode, successful experience, development prospects analysis private boarding school Tung Wah Junior Middle School characteristics, reflected the private boarding school amazing speed of development and the success of school running mode to maximize. (4) analysis of the reality of the plight of the private boarding schools, government management is not in place, vicious competition between the private schools; the internal management of schools in terms of, management philosophy has not kept up, part of the school inspection, simple means of education, work intensity caused teach the teacher troop's stability has yet to be improved, and so on many kinds of factors influence, the urban private boarding schools in the development of the difficulties in the way forward.In conclusion, this paper explores and studies the reason of the development in city private boarding school from various aspects, and actively puts forward effective solutions to problems. In order to develop private boarding schools effectively, the government, local education bureau and school itself must do their own job. As for the government, it should coordinate all resources, accelerate the pace of construction of high-quality private boarding school. The author believes that, in order to promote the steady development of the urban private boarding schools, maintain the healthy growth of the students, there must be a scientific and comprehensive management in school. And the concept of teachers must change, the quality of teachers need to be improved, the stability of teachers has to be strengthen, these are the guarantee to private boarding school development. The focus of urban private boarding school is to cultivate students' self management ability and promote the healthy and harmonious development of students by carrying out various social practice activities. Through this research, the author explores the various factor to promote the vigorous development of urban private boarding school and proposed an effective mode of management of the schools, so as to improve the status of private boarding schools, to promote the harmonious development of student's body and mind. At the same time, to provide a reference value for the development of other city private boarding schools.
