Brand has a strong influence and radiation of the event and has a strong constitution characteristics on economic growth and city by creating competitive sports brand,enhance the level of competition and obtain brand spillover effects lead to the development of city construction,become a part of the city culture,the two promote each other,common prosperity.Paper to hold the bearing capacity of the brand competition of competitive sports in Dalian as the research object,mainly investigates the marathon,football,swimming,water sports,golf,riding and so on brand competition.Methods adopted the method of consulting literature materials,analyzed both at home and abroad about the relationship between brand competition and the development of the city of competitive sports,relying on the city’s economic strength to hold big events,events gradually mature and form a brand effect and promote regional economic development.The competition combined with literature,by field visits to understand the current situation of Dalian city brand competitive sports event and feel strong sports culture atmosphere.And summarizes the related literature,the bearing capacity of the brand competition of competitive sports is obtained by the urban operation ability,response capacity,the promotion ability,organization and coordination ability and facility operation ability five elements,the influence of competitive sports brand competition capacity summarized out by natural environment factors and the multitude of the city’s overall development plan,project condition of infrastructure,urban infrastructure,and sports venues,the operations team and the operational experience of the event five factors.Through the SWOT analysis method to the bearing capacity of the brand competition of competitive sports in Dalian five elements combined with the actual situation of the Dalian city to undertake the brand competition of competitive sports in Dalian has analyzed a strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats,SWOT analysis matrix growth and expanding type,reverse type,four defensive strategies,in order to promote the carrying capacity of brand competition of competitive sports in Dalian.Paper in combination with the actual situation in Dalian,on the basis of comprehensive analysis on the carrying capacity of the brand competition of competitive sports in Dalian,the current gradually formed in Dalian represented by marathon has extensive influence of brand competition of competitive sports,but also on the number does not have the scale,the traditional advantage project football in minor league,weaken,football matches with theimprovement of facilities operation ability,is gradually improving.Riding and tennis,project rapid development,but from the brand competition there is a big gap,water sports development is in its infancy.Still exist in the process of development,this a series of problems: competitive sports brand competition is given priority to with introduction,city competition ability also need to strengthen,the team cooperation ability remains to be strengthened,the overall comprehensive carrying capacity needs to be improved.
