The Model Design Research And Implementation Of Adaptive Learning System

Adaptive learning system is a learning system that can be adjusted automatically according to the learner's characteristics in the learning process.Nowadays people pay more attention to personalized learning.The traditional teaching method is to give a unified explanation of all the learning contents.The content of the teaching and the coursewares are relatively fixed,which can not provide personalized choices for different learners.The adaptive learning system constructs learning models according to the learners' relevant background and personal preference,and applies it in the interaction to adapt to the learning needs of different learners.The emergence of adaptive learning provides a way to solve the demand for personalized learning.The core of adaptive learning system in this study is that the system provides personalized recommendations of learning content according to the learners' model.First of all,a learner model is developed by studying the existing learner modeling specifications.This model includes four parts: basic information,learning style,knowledge level and interest preference.The learning style model uses the most widely used Felder-Silverman learning style model.Based on Bloom's theory of cognitive goal classification,the model of knowledge level is designed combing with the teaching program of the discrete mathematics course.The knowledge structure of discrete mathematics is deeply analyzed,and the discrete mathematics knowledge ontology is edited in ontology tool Protégé,and the relationship between knowledge is established by creating object attributes.At last,personalized learning content recommendations are realized,including recommendations based on learning style,recommendations based on the knowledge level and collaborative filtering recommendation based on the learner's interests.This thesis studies the model design and implementation of adaptive learning system.Taking discrete mathematics course as an example,a subject oriented adaptive learning system is designed.Discrete mathematics ontology is constructed,and personalized recommendations of learning content are realized based on the learner model.
