Research On The Cultivation Of Contemporary University Students' Social Responsibility

Social responsibility is an important moral emotion, it's a valuable spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation. The stand or fall of social responsibility determines the development of our country in the future, which can determine whether achieve the Chinese dream or not as soon as possible. According to the investigation this time, on the whole, the development of contemporary college students social responsibility is in a good state, but there are has many disadvantages also. There are some problems existing in the restricts to the improvement of college students' social responsibility. Therefore, it is very necessary to strengthen the cultivation of contemporary college students' social responsibility.This study is based on the theory of marxist ideological, the theory of cognitive structure, the theory of social identity, the philosophical theories about responsibility and freedom of marxism. The study shows that the individual dimension, others dimension, family dimension, collective dimension and the country dimension, human society dimension of college students' social responsibility are all in good condition. The major factors affecting college students' sense of social responsibility: the gender of college students, political outlook, the school level which their study in, learning situation, college students' consumption level of their families, their father's occupation, culture level and political landscape factors, how often spent in surfing the Internet, how long time spent in watching TV, the frequency to reading newspapers and magazines.In the cultivation of contemporary college students' social responsibility, the main problems are as follows: some college students can't be responsible for themselves, the serious part of the university students' individualism, college students' political participation consciousness is weak, the cultivating methods are single and so on.The reason why there are some problems in the process of the cultivation of contemporary university students' social responsibility is that the college students themselves can't be strict to the self-discipline, problems existing in their social morality consciousness; some parents don't pay much attention to college students enough, the attention to college students' group activities are inadequate; the aspect of training school, it is necessary to strengthen the ideal faith education of college students' ability training immediately, the cultivation of college students ability is not enough, college students' physical and mental health education do not reach the designated position, there is no effective political platform to make the education function come true; on the social side, there is no full attention to heteronomy, don't combine self-discipline and heteronomy well, the college students' political participation consciousness and college students' social responsibility practice is weak. To solve these problems, we should set the goal like this based on realizing the healthy development of college students and study progress, college students' interpersonal harmony, the harmony of university students and family relations, achieving the goal of college students' patriotic consciously. The goal of college students and the natural harmonious coexistence, we insisting on the principle of comprehensive, objectivity, scientificity, and epochal character. Then we proposed the path of cultivation of contemporary college students social responsibility, and hoping those efforts function well.
