The Research Of High School Students' Career Decision-making Difficulty And The Influences Of The Family

In high school period,teenagers need to face many important options for the development direction.Right choices will be more conducive to show his talents and have positive significance to personal happiness and the development of the country and society.Our Party and government have paid close attention to the career development of high school stage,and gradually set up related education courses and activities,but sometimes it cannot get ideal effects.This research is based on the confusions of high school students' career choices,using quantitative research to make questionnaire surveys among 506 normal high school students.The results showed that firstly nearly 20% students have confusions in their career choices.The level of career choice confusions is in the medium state in general.The factors in negative motivation,information shortage and information paradox have great differences between genders.The boys have more confusions than the girls.The differences between confusions of grades only reflect information paradox.Secondly,there is a positive correlation between negative motivation and parents' expectations,which have no significant relation with information shortage and paradox.Thirdly,it is found that the family atmosphere has the adjustment function between parents' expectations and children's negative career motivation.That reminds us the misconceptions of parents' about career development of high school students' will cause children to produce negative motivation about career choice,so it is worth paying much attention for relevant departments to parents' career education and creating the family atmosphere.In order to improve the ability of our high school students' career development and reduce the degrees of their career choice confusions,the government should adopt a series of policy rules which will regulate,ensure and support the career education.And schools should greatly make the construction of career education system and teaching staff.Also they need to pay attention to the guidance of parents.The communities should focus on the parent-schools,clear their role location and enhance the career education effects of the parent-schools.
