The mobile applications technology has entered into the rapid development stage since 2012.Mobile applications have been applied into various industrie s in our society and have gradually changed people’s daily life styles and cons umer behavior.This paper makes an analysis of the current situation of mobile applications and the development of sports fitness industry,and then compreh ensively analyzes how the characteristics,functions and profit model of mobile applications affect the development of sports fitness industry based on the lite rature,interview and other methods,then prove the point by “Gu Dong”in ord er to inspire the sports fitness industry of how to use the advantages of mobil e applications for further development.First of all,the paper describes the characteristics,functions and profit mo del of mobile applications.Mobile applications have the characteristics of mobi lity,full time,cross-border,personalization and localization,which have social services,LBS services and mobile payment functions.The profit models are m obile advertising profit model,download charging profit model,value-added ser vice profit model,online e-commerce profit model and free profit model.Secondly,the paper describes the current situation of the development of sports fitness industry including the output value of sports fitness industry,em ployment situation,the business model of sports and fitness industry and the P EST analysis of the development environment of sports fitness industry.Becaus e a lot of scholars research sports fitness industry from the aspects of the poli tical,economic and social environments,the paper makes a research on the sp orts fitness industry in the perspective of Internet technology.This paper makes a comprehensive analysis of how the characteristics,fun ctions and profit model of mobile applications affect the development of sports fitness industry.According to the characteristics of mobile applications,they a ffect ecological chain of the sports fitness industry products,media promotion,business management and user management.From the functional perspective,mobile applications’ incentive system can cultivate users’ fitness habits,marketing precise personalization in sports fitness industry,brand promotion and user interaction and relationship network reinforcement in sports fitness industry.Fro m the profit model perspective,mobile applications make income source multip le in sports fitness industry,and make the improvement of users’ activeness an d viscosity become the core of the industry competitive power.After the "Gu Dong" and demonstration,theory and corresponding explanation of plump prod uct design,user management,brand promotion and profit model.Lastly,based on the sports fitness industry use of mobile applications exist problems and difficulties,I put forward corresponding suggestions: First is reasonable to expand the product of sports fitness industry ecological chain,and integrate the sports fitness industry related resources;Secondly,coexistence of a variety of income is the nessesrry,reducing income for single risk;the third is combination of online and offline management,to provide personalized,differentiated products and services for the user;the fourth is to strengthen network operating environment security mechanism construction,to build a green and safe network environment;last is to strengthen the content of fitness guide action publishing audit,improve the scientific level of action to guide characteristics.
