| Nowadays,China’s sports industry has grown in scale,and the public has gradually realized that the sports economy is constantly changing and has had a certain impact on the general public.With the start of the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the promotion of policies,the increase in residents’ income levels,the drive of technological innovation,as well as the promotion and popularization of new consumption scenarios,China’s sports industry will experience greater development.Sustainable profitability is fundamental to a company’s sustained and healthy development,and a company’s profitability model will affect its profit level.Research on the profitability models of sports industry-related enterprises is limited,but it is currently a hot topic of concern under the new trend of national fitness.This article,from the perspective of the value chain,deeply explores the current profitability model of China Sports Industry Group and proposes corresponding optimization strategies,hoping to provide a certain reference for the transformation and development of the profitability model of sports industry-related enterprises in China.This article uses research methods such as literature analysis and case analysis to analyze China Sports Industry Group as a case study.Firstly,the existing research results of domestic and foreign scholars on the value chain and profitability model theories are sorted out,and the relationship between China Sports Industry Group’s value chain and profitability model is explored based on this.Secondly,based on the three-level growth theory,China Sports Industry Group’s development process is divided into three stages,and the corresponding profitability model types from the perspective of the value chain are explored,revealing that China Sports Industry Group’s current profitability model is a value chain integration model.At the same time,from the perspective of the value chain,the five elements of China Sports Industry Group’s profitability model(profit object,profit point,profit source,profit leverage,and profit barrier)are analyzed in detail,and each profitability element is further matched with various links in the internal and external value chains.Thirdly,this article analyzes the operating effects of China Sports Industry Group’s current profitability model,selects China Sports Industry Group’s financial data from the annual reports from 2018 to2021 and financial data of peer companies in the industry over the past four years,and analyzes the existing value chain integration model based on profitability and cash flow.The vertical value chain effect is analyzed based on China Sports Industry Group’s supplier purchasing data and sales data of the top five customers.Finally,based on the value chain perspective,this article proposes corresponding strategies for the problems of the current value chain integration model of China Sports Industry Group.Through the analysis of the current profitability model of China Sports Industry Group,this article puts forward some reference suggestions for the improvement of the profitability model from various links in the value chain. |
