Chemistry is a laboratory-based natural science. Chemistry Experiment is an important part in Chemistry Teaching. It is not only an important mean for teachers to teach knowledge, but also the necessary way for students to learn chemistry. However, chemistry experiment knowledge in high school is trivial, complex and involves a wide range of knowledge for many students who just entering high school. So it is hard for students to adapt and there are problems such as experimental preview effect is not ideal, thinking in the process of experiment is not clear, the lack of the overall understanding of the related content after experiment and so on. Mind mapping is an effective tool for organizational thinking. Mind mapping is an effective organization thinking tool, which uses the divergent characteristics of brain thinking with the help of color, lines, symbols, words, etc. It can organize a lot of messy information into maps which are colorful, easy to understand and memory and with a rational and a sense of the level. Applying mind mapping to the chemistry experiment teaching can express the process and steps of the whole experiment intuitively and simply, solve students' clutter which caused by messy knowledge and tedious experimental procedures. It can also reflect the relevance between each knowledge point in a clear way so that experimental content is simply and clearly presented in front of students and students canunderstand the whole experiment comprehensively.In this paper, the author understands the related concepts of and research status of mind map in the field of chemistry teaching and chemistry experiment teaching through literature study. The current situation of senior chemistry experiment teaching and the application situation of mind map in experiment teaching is also understood through investigation. Then the author put the idea that apply the mind map into senior chemistry experiment teaching aiming at the problems in senior chemistry experiment teaching and designed three typical teaching cases: "filter and evaporation", "the reaction of the metal and nonmetal" and "the characteristics of concentrated sulfuric acid reaction". In these cases the author designed the mind map of experiment preparation, experiment operation process and summarizes.The subject of this study is conducive to resolving the problems existing in chemistry experiment teaching. It also helps to improve students' chemistry experiment learning, enrich the teachers' teaching methods and can provide a kind of new teaching mode for the experimental teaching of chemistry.
