The problem of Japan's textbook began at 1951 and it was always kept in a special position in the following years. Textbook issue is not only the problem of domestic affairs, but also it is closely linked with the diplomatic; especially it inseparably linked with the diplomatic polarization with the Asia countries where the center countries are China and Korea. In 2001(Heisei era 12), Social(History) textbook of middle school compiled by “Japanese Society for History Textbook Reform”, which actually is published by Fusosha Publishing inc, called ? New Historical Textbook?, was approved as a textbook. As we all known, the content and historical viewpoint of this textbook became the vital problem, especially which denied that the war they provoked in Asia area is not an Aggressive War. At that time, this created a big contention in Japan's domestic and overseas.This paper apply with the method of comparative study and historical analysis, at the same time, refer to the historiography of ?Three Country's Modern History of East Asia ? to compare ? New Historical Textbook ?, published by Fusosha Publishing inc with ?New Social History? which is the most used textbook in Japan's middle school published by Tokyo Shoseki, to study historiography by analyzing the discrepancy of these two historical textbook. And the effect of holding different historiography textbooks to history education and national historical awareness. |
