In the process of physical education and sports training, some teachers and coaches use reinforcement to promote teaching and training effect. However, in practice, reinforcement may bring about useless effect or even negative effect.According to its character and goal, reinforcement can be divided into positive reinforcement and negative reinforcement which may be easily misidentified in practice, besides, quite a number of teachers and coaches confused the conception of negative reinforcement and punishment so as to misuse reinforcement. what's more,due to the objective individual differences as well as different perception of schedule of reinforcement, different subsequent act may produce.These elements above require a clear understanding about reinforcement theory during its application varies with each individual.achievement goal orientation can be defined as the manifestation of individual social cognitive orientation from achievement motivation aspect. Not only achievement goal orientation is of significance for individual achievement motivation but also of individual character which may influence individual reaction to reinforcement.This research select reinforcement education in colleges and universities as study object and interviewed 20 physical specialist in three colleges and universities in Nanchang, to explore the basic states of reinforcement in physical education in colleges and universities. And by experimentation to teach 73 non—PE—major students with zero—based tennis skills during 12 week's reinforcement education in order to investigate all the informants' learning attitude, mood states, achievement of tennis by using psychological scale and performance evaluation; at the same time, to investigate the effect of reinforcement on learning psychology and learning outcomes for college students with different achievement goal orientation.This research is to study the optimum reinforcement for college students with different achievement goal orientation, to improve teaching and learning in reinforcement, as well as to enrich reinforcement and achievement goal orientation theory, to reveal the personalization of reinforcement and responsive model from achievement goal orientation to different reinforcement.The research finds(1)reinforcement is widely used in physical education in colleges and universities, but meanwhile, be obviously misunderstood andmisused.(2)college students' learning attitude and mood states during tennis learning varies by different reinforcement methods. Positive reinforcement has the best influence on tennis learning attitude and mood states for achievement approach students. However, negative reinforcement is the best effect on tennis learning attitude and mood states for achievement avoid students. Besides, comprehensive reinforcement is the best method for tennis learning attitude and mood states for learning goals orientation students.(3)Significant difference in influence on college students' tennis learning attitude and mood states exists in different reinforcement methods. As for college students' tennis learning effect, comprehensive reinforcement and positive reinforcement obviously better than non—reinforcement, besides, the effect of comprehensive reinforcement is also significantly better than negative reinforcement.
