A Survey On The Life Attitude Of Preschool Teachers

The main purpose of this study is to comprehend the life attitude and the life education attitude of preschool teachers at present status, the differences of life attitude among preschool teachers in different demographic characteristics, the relationship between the life attitude and the life education attitude among preschool teachers, and the life attitude towards the life education attitude.The participants of the study are 245 preschool teachers from public and private kindergartens in S city. The study collects data by using the instrument of a questionnaire. The research tools are the modified Life Attitude Scale and The Life Education Attitude Scale, and the sample is selected in a convenient way. Six preschool teachers were sampled for semi-structured interviews. It is hoped to obtain convergent results and findings from different research methods.The results of the study are as follows:1. The attitude towards life of preschool teachers is positive orientation, especially strong to the aspect of Love and Care, the average score of Death Education is the lowest.2. The life education attiude is also positive orientation, especially strong to the aspect of People and Others, the average score of Life and Death is the lowest.3. In this four variables, Marriage, Compilation, If there have some special children in the class, Nature of the Kindergarten, there were no significant differences between the teachers with different demographic characteristics. But in the other six variables, there were significant differences between the teachers.4. The life attitude has a significant correlation with the life education attitude.5. The preschool teachers’life attitude can effectively predict their attitude of life education.
