With the deepening reform of the new curriculum, environmental education now has attracted extensive attention. The Chemistry Curriculum Standard of Common Senior High School(tentative standard) gives clear guidelines on the goal and teaching method of the high school chemical environment education. In addition, the contents of the environmental education are included in various disciplines. However, the renewal process of knowledge always falls behind the the developing rapidity of the environmental science, and a lot of frontier knowledge can not be presented in the limited class hours. As a consequence, only by presenting the contents of environmental education in a new teaching mode, can students better grasp the relevant knowledge of environmental protection and sustainable development in a limited time, in order to further develop the ability to deal with environmental problems. With the emergence and development of micro-course, which brings a commendable education model for micro-learning of contemporary society and environmental education of high school chemistry. The micro-course means a course which takes video as its main carrier, to record a brief and complete teaching activity related to a certain knowledge point or teaching link. Environmental education micro-course can not only stimulate students' interest of learning, which will further cultivate the learners' ability of information literacy, but also can improve students' learning efficiency. With the creation and application process of the micro-course, teachers' information application abilities can be further improved, as well as the high-quality micro teaching resources for the environmental education can be developed by themselves consequently.This research can be divided into two aspects as the guideline: thetheoretical research and the practice research. In the theoretical research part,the meaning, characteristics and types of the micro-course are summarized and the comparison between the micro-course and the regular course are made, mainly on the basis of constructivism learning theory, multiple intelligence theory and autonomous learning theory. By combining with the characteristics of the environmental education content, the procedure, the general principles, the design ideas and the design process of the design of the environmental education micro-course sources in the middle school chemistry teaching course are discussed. Through the analysis of the environmental education content of the chemistry compulsory curriculum volume 1 and 2 published by People's Education Press, the importance and necessity for the combination of environmental education content in the teaching of chemistry then can be obtained. Moreover, the environmental education content of high school chemistry teaching correlated with the articles, such as Protection of Water Resources, Heavy Metal Pollution and Air Pollution, can be used for the resource design of the micro-course. The corresponding micro-course educational videos is made by Camtasia--Studio 8 micro-course editing program, and The specific information and design ideas of the micro-course are introduced in detail,which provide a certain reference for the environmental education in the chemistry teaching process of senior high school.In conclusion, it is feasible to present the content of environmental education in senior high school chemistry teaching proc ess with the teaching model of micro-course. The proposed teaching mode plays an important role in the assistance teaching process of the environmental education for high school chemistry teaching. With the implementation of the environmental micro-course, students can get a large amount of information in a limited time, which will further improve students' learning efficiency and cultivate their awareness of environmental protection. There remains many aspects of the micro-course sources of environmental education for high school chemistry teaching, which can be used as thesubjects of further work due to the study results have not been put into practice yet. We hope that the researchers should take active part in doing in-depth studies on the development of the environmental education micro-course for high school chemistry teaching, in order to better apply the micro-course sources in the actual teaching process of the environmental education of high school chemistry.
