| With the growing popularity of life long education, many countries will build a learning oriented society as the goal of educational reform. Moreover, learning adaptability has gradually become one of the essential abilities of contemporary college students, especially for freshmen. The learning adaptation of freshman is not only important to the development of university life in the future, but also has an important influence on the lifelong development after graduation.Through the collation and analysis of the relevant literature on the learning adaptability of college freshmen,I puts forward a theoretical hypothesis about the adaptability of university freshmen in this paper.According to the literature review,I made this "University Freshman Learning Adaptability Questionnaire", and investigated 1200 grade 2014 Freshman of the following four universities, D Normal University, C Normal University, J University and C University of Science and Technology. Analyse the results of the survey of University Freshmen in learning methods, teaching methods, learning environment and learning contents of four aspects of the learning adaptability.Explore how the individual factors and school factors affect learning adaptability of University Freshmen, and make it clear that what problems they encountered and what help they need in learning.After investigation and analysis, the results are as follows:1.The learning adaptability of the freshmen of D Normal University,C Normal University, J University and C University of Science and Technology is good, and the level of learning adaptability of college freshmen showed a positive trend in the overall.2.Through the university freshmen to different groups of differences in learning adaptability analysis:four colleges university freshman learning adaptability of the overall situation does not exist significant differences. There are differences in Teachers College and normal college university freshman learning adaptability of the overall situation, but the difference is very weak. There is a difference between the ’211 Project’ and ’non-211 Project’ universities and colleges of Freshmen’s learning adaptability of the overall situation, and the ’non-211 Project’universities Freshmen’s learning adaptability is better than the’211 Project’ universities. In the learning adaptability of college freshmen with a hierarchy of different types of colleges and universities does not exist obvious difference, the reason can be attributed to the same level of two colleges and universities and the similar students structure, although the learning content had slight differences, but this does not affect the situation in learning adaptability. In two normal university freshmen of same type exists different levels of learning adaptability, and C Normal University freshman learning adaptability level is higher than the level of learning adaptability of D normal university. And there is no difference in the same type of college freshmen but different levels of two non-normal colleges and universities learning adaptability.3.Compared with the individual factors, school factors of learning adaptability influense greater than the individual factors of learning adaptability of University freshmen.For the personal factors, learning methods and attitude of university students have more effect on university freshmen. However, as to the influence factors of the school, school, major,school atmosphere, for admission to the university education curriculum and the help from the university teachers and classmates and so on influense more on university freshmen’s learning adaptabilityFinally,according to the results of the survey questionnaire and the collected data,supplemented by the relevant literature, I put forward some concrete and feasible suggestions and opinions from the school and the student two angles for university freshman learning adaptability problems. |
