Contemporary college students are the future of the country, the hope of the nation,and the main force of building our rich and powerful country. Their ideal and faith has a close relationship with the future development of our country. As the breakthrough point of the university ideological and political education,the ideal and faith education of the college is the core of the education. Especially, after the report of the 18 th National Congress. Chairman Xi Jinping, stressed the importance of the ideal and faith of the college students, coupled with the emergence of the “Chinese dream”. “Chinese dream” is highly matching the education of the ideal and faith of the college students. The Chinese dream is the reflection of the Chinese nation and the Chinese people's common wealth dream and has abundant connotations and richful meanings. Meanwhile, it has the internal consistency between the Chinese dream and the ideal and faith of college students. The Chinese dream leads the direction of the ideal and faith education of college students and exerts positive impact on them. From the perspective of culture cultivation, model, practical talents, we can improve the teaching methods of the ideal and faith education of college students, enhancing their self-cultivation from cuademic study and interrs, they can confirm their own dreams, hone their will, become the practitioner, so as to realize the dream and the dream of fusion target.
