Literature reading is an important way for physical education graduated students to accumulate knowledge, and the literature reading ability is not only relate to choosing academic orientation, broadening the academic horizon, updating the academic thinking, perfecting the academic methods and promoting the academic research ability, but also have effects on the overall quality of the graduated student education. So it is important for promote the graduated students education quality to acknowledge the reality of physical education graduated students literature reading, and grasp the exiting problems accurately, analyze the root causes of issue deeply and find the methods and ways to promote physical education graduated students' literature reading level.Because of the above importance, this article is on the object of study in the literature reading behaviors between the physical education graduated students in Jiangsu province, based on the available literature, and use the reality of physical education graduated students literature reading as the point of penetration. Through the questionnaire surveys and interviews in Nanjing University, Southeast University, Nanjing Norman University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Suzhou University, Yangzhou University, Nanjing Sport Institute, and combing and analysis the behavior and effects in the motivation, content, manner, time, planning and procedure in literature reading between the physical education graduated students and find the following conclusion:(1) The motivation of literature reading between the physical education graduated students showed tendency as lack of motive force supporting. According to the survey, the most motivation of literature reading between the physical education graduated students is meet the requirement of studies(90.8%),and the second is the requirement of finding jobs(68.2%).(2) There is a scattered and fragmentation problem in the times of literature reading between the physical education graduated students. According to the data, there only 13.9% of surveyed students can make a reading plan and carry out the plan effectively, and 72.2% of student read literature casually and don't have a regular time.(3) As for the content of literature reading between the physical education graduated students, they are usually choose the academic dissertation and magazines and ignore the basic theories and thinking methods. The survey shows that there 94.2% of graduated students attach most importance to magazines and 95.8% of graduated students attach most importance to academic dissertation, 28.3% of graduated students attach most importance to basic theories and only 16.7% of graduated students attach most importance to thinking training, and their reading manners are single.(4) When the physical education graduated students reading literature, they often lack of thinking independently and use effective methods. Many graduated students will leave marks when they are reading, fewer students will write a reading notes and there are only 15.0% of students will communicate with others about the literature reading.(5) The mainly influence factor in the literature reading behaviors between the physical education graduated students in Jiangsu province is the graduated students themselves, the tutor's guidance, the education methods the environments and so on.Countermeasures and suggestions: 1. Improve the bad reading behavior; 2. Strengthen the tutor's guidance on the methods of graduated students literature reading; 3. Offer an effective discussion course on the literature reading; 4. Create a good literature reading atmosphere.
