A Study On Marx’s Theory Of Labor Division

It can be said that the labor division,which occupies a very important position in the whole Marxist theoretical system,is the starting point of Marxist theoretical system.So far scholars have studied the labor division from different perspectives but all lack the realistic theoretical basis.On the basis of critique and inheritance of previous thinkers,and based on social practice,Marx researched on the labor division from the dual perspective of philosophy and economics,considering that the division of labor is the social existence of human labor and an important starting point to grasp historical materialism.Nowadays,in the new situation of “reverse globalization” and the continuous deepening international division of labor,the labor division has been entrusted with the connotation of the new times.Therefore,the in-depth study of this theory is not only a deepening and enrichment of Marxist theories,but also a good opportunity for China’s development and thereby win the better development.Based on the arrangement of related Marx’s literature,this contribution has a research on Marxist labor division theory mainly from four aspects.Firstly,in the context of the current historical conditions and the “survival state of man”,and in the process of critique of Plato,Smith,Utopian socialist ideology,Marx reproduced the historical background of the division of labor and proposed a scientific division of labor theory;Secondly,in the study of "1844 Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts","German Ideology","Poverty of Philosophy","Capital" and other related works,a scientific and complete labor division theory was gradually formed;other way,in this paper,form the dimensions of alienation,word history and conscientious division of labor clarified the logical process of labor division,thus it clearly shows the internal logic of Marx’s theory of division of labor.Thirdly,the main contents of Marxist labor division theory was sorted out from two aspects,namely,the basic connotation of labor division and the labor division and historical materialism,and on this basis,the change that Marxist labor division theory has achieved,with the historical and practical perspectives,is analyzed to highlight the uniqueness of Marxist labor division theory;the last part is the sublimation of Marxist labor division theory.This contribution,based on the current development of society,illustrated the new connotation of the division of labor theory;furthermore,with the analysis of the current status of labor division in China,the theory of labor division is combined with background of the current times,which leads to the theoretical guiding role of Marxist labor division theory in socialist society,in order toachieving better development.
