A Study On The Social Exclusion Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers

China is in the critical period of building a well-off society in an all-round way.As the main force in urban construction,migrant workers play an important role in social transformation and industrial transformation.The new generation of migrant workers almost half of the total migrant workers,with the replacement of generations,more and more young migrant workers on the stage of history,the new generation of migrant workers compared with the first generation of migrant workers in many ways,there are obvious differences.Their higher cultural level,more active thinking,more diverse ways to contact things.These characteristics,coupled with our country's long-standing household registration system,make them face many obstacles in the process of integrating into urban society.When the social exclusion comes from the city,the social exclusion of the new generation of migrant workers has become a hot topic.This study takes Xuzhou,the largest city in northern Jiangsu,as an example to study the social exclusion of the new generation of migrant workers.By using the method of questionnaire and individual interview,this paper first analyzes the characteristics of the new generation of migrant workers,such as culture and education,career selection and employment.Wage treatment,local complex and other aspects of the preliminary description;secondly,the status quo of the social exclusion of the new generation of migrant workers is systematically sorted out and attribution analysis,It is believed that the new generation of migrant workers will face the exclusion of passive and active in the process of citizenship.The passive exclusion is mainly reflected in the economic,political,cultural,social security and household registration system,active exclusion.Finally,from the government dimension,the urban social dimension,the unit dimension and the individual dimension,this paper deeply discusses how to accelerate the new generation of migrant workers to integrate into the city.Feasibility measures to eliminate social exclusion.In a word,the problem of social exclusion of the new generation of migrant workers is a problem involving many complicated factors,not a problem that can be solved overnight.We must co-ordinate the government,the society,The units and individuals pay more attention to the social exclusion of the new generation of migrant workers.
