The Role Analysis Of Meishan Municipal Government In The Tourism Development

With the development of economy and the improvement of living standards,the city development process of our country is accelerating;the social security system is constantly perfecting;the people’s health level is gradually increasing;the system of holiday with payment is gradually implementing;the holiday system is constantly improving;people’s spiritual and cultural needs are rising further;tourism consumption is rapidly required,and tourism has become one of the most important leisure ways.Tourism has been established as a happy industry,and the governments at all levels attach great importance to the development of tourism.In many places,tourism is developed as a pillar industry or a leading industry.The important status of tourism industry was declared in Meishan in its 13 th Five-Year plan;tourism economy is continuing to grow steadily,which has become a pillar industry in the economic development of the city.For underdeveloped Meishan,the role of the government is directly related to the development of tourism.This paper introduces the basic theories of the role of government,analyzes the role of our government in the development of tourism industry,analyzes the development status and the existing problems of Meishan tourism industry,analysis of the lack of role of Meishan city government in the development of tourism,that is the lackness of cultivation in the tourism market,service vacancy,absence of publicity and lackness of resource integration,and role offside,that is participating in the training directly and being invovled in the travel association affairs too much.Finally,this paper puts forward some suggestions on optimizing role of Meishan government in strengthening the cultivation of tourism market;improving regional tourism cooperation with the government leading influence,constantly perfecting the tourism public service supply,strengthening advertising and promoting,strengthening the training and bringing in of tourism personnel,strengthening the tourism standard management,scientific planning,strengthening the industry support,etc.With the hope that it can provide a reference for promoting the tourism development of Meishan.
