Study On The Risk Of Maltreatment And Governance Strategy Of The Left-behind Girls In Midwest China

With the accelerating development of the process of urban construction,a large number of migrant workers in rural areas have gradually become the main force of urban construction,while children of them in their hometown are subjected to the problems left by their parents.A group of girls whose left-behind in our country still stands at 9.02 million at the end of March 2016,and the proportion of girls left-behind is slightly higher than that of boys,which show that left-behind girls may face more problems and risk in the process of children development,and the problem of child abuse is a difficult problem for the group to grow up.General concerns and debates on this topic about the group of left-behind girls had a bearing on in the academic world after 2004.From then on,more and more researches on "left-behind girls" have focused on sexual assault,elementary education problems,protection of rights and interest problem.However,in the text process of "left-behind girls",there are still some disadvantages in some ways,which need further study to be optimized on the basis of current situation.On the basis of this text,the quantitative technique is adopted to explore the abuse of the "left-behind girls" group in the six provinces of central and western China,understanding more about the abuse conditions of "left-behind girls" in the central and western regions.Through the study on the abuse of "left-behind girls" in the central and western regions,it is found that:(1)Psychological abuse is the most serious form of abuse among left-behind girls in the central and western regions,abuse and hurt self-esteem is relatively large,which have become the main form of left-behind girls in the central and western regions.(2)There is a large of psychological abuse left-behind girls in the central region,physical abuse and psychological abuse are greater risks of abuse in the western region;the abuse of left-behind girls aged 12 to 14 is even worse,and psychological abuse to some extent can be more severe with age,but physical abuse and disregardful injuries tend to decrease with age.(3)Emotional relationship is the most important factor influencing the abuse of 1157 left-behind girls,and the sex relationship isparticularly significant factor;the cause of abuse in the central area is gender relationship and family economic income factor,however the western region is the resultant force of gender relations,the number of births and population factors.(4)The relevant legal system of child abuse in our country is more sound,but the professional service ability is insufficient,in particular,there is a large lack of family support services.In view of the widespread phenomenon of maltreatment in Midwest of China,the relevant research suggests: First of all,when paying attention to the problem of child abuse,especially the problem of maltreatment of the special group of left-behind girls should be paid more attention;Secondly,because there are many manifestations of abuse in the form of abuse,therefore the management of child abuse to seek common ground on major questions while reserving differences on minor points to truly realize the protection of the maltreatment of the left-behind girls;Finally,in the future,the protection mechanism of abuse should strengthen the support of emotional relationship,the ability of family support service should be enhanced,protection for children by a specialized and standardized way should be provided,and further efforts should be made to guarantee the rights and interests of children to the greatest extent.
