In recent years,with the increase of child sexual abuse,how to improve children’s awareness and ability to prevent sexual abuse has become a hot topic in our sociology.At present,it is an indisputable fact that there is a lack of sexual abuse prevention education in China.Due to a series of reasons,such as the absence of parents and family guardians in children’s sexual abuse prevention education,the neglect of sexual abuse education in local schools,and the conservative ideas of local people,the left behind children are less aware of avoid sexual abuse and more likely to suffer from sexual abuse.The reasonable intervention of social work can effectively make up for the absence of family,school and community in the field of left behind children’s sexual abuse prevention education,and enhance the awareness and ability of left behind children in rural areas.This study takes the left behind children in Y village of Ruijin City in Jiangxi Province as the research object,and uses the methods of literature research,interview and questionnaire survey to understand the situation of sexual abuse prevention of local left behind children.Through the investigation,it is found that the local left behind children’s awareness and ability of preventing sexual abuse are weak,and the left behind children’s education of preventing sexual abuse is lack.According to this situation,this study uses the method of social group work to intervene.The whole intervention process is guided by the theory of empowerment,and from the perspective of empowerment,six sexual abuse prevention education group activities are designed.It is found that the intervention of social work can effectively enhance the awareness and ability of left behind children to prevent sexual abuse,and has a positive role in the education of left behind children to prevent sexual abuse.Finally,this paper summarizes and reflects on the shortcomings of the left behind children’s anti sexual assault education activities,and puts forward some suggestions for the rural left behind children’s sexual abuse prevention education,hoping to provide some experience for the future sexual abuse prevention education activities,and care for the healthy growth of left behind children.
