| With the advancement of industrialization and urbanization in China,as well as urban and rural economic development gap is widening,a large number of rural surplus labor force to improve the family economic conditions and flow to the cities to seek better development.Due to the urban-rural dual structure,The children of migrant workers accept education in different places,which is restricted by the household registration system.The economic capacity and time of migrant workers are limited,and they cannot afford the high cost of living and studying in cities.As a result,most migrant workers can only leave their children at home,thus forming a large number of left-behind children.The problem of left-behind children is a serious social problem brought about by the urban-rural dual structure in China,which is directly related to the future development of the country.Because of the weak position of the left-behind children,the parents are the subject of their needs and support.After the parents go out to work,the support system of left-behind children falls apart,and the basic needs are not satisfactorily satisfied,the support of other subjects is of great significance to its survival and development.The respondents in this paper are left-behind children in GanTian village YouYang county chongqing municipality.combined with the social support theory,through the way of participant observation and case interview,the support from the government,school,family support and social support other four aspects detailed describes the social support of left-behind children in the content,way and effect of the status quo and problems,and analyzes the reasons for the insufficient social support of left-behind children.Through investigation and study,found that the support system of left-behind children did not give full play to its support and the proper role,such as government support isinsufficient,lack of targeted financial support,basic-level organization value;the parents’ emotional support is insufficient,and the temporary guardian has insufficient support for the education;education support and emotional support are seriously inadequate;other personal support has problems such as small source,small strength and blindness;Social groups’ support is "missing".Finally,the author puts forward some Suggestions on improving the social support of left-behind children in minority areas from the government,family,school and the other four aspects:The government should accelerate the reform of the household registration system,increase the input of education in rural areas,strengthen supervision and implementation,and support the township industries;Parents should improve the parent-child relationship,and the guardian should change education concept and strengthen the importance of left-behind children;Schools should improve the level of education,education quality and the comprehensive quality of teachers;Teachers should change their teaching ideas and enhance their sense of responsibility;The media should strengthen publicity and guidance,and social organizations and public welfare organizations should strengthen cooperation to make up for the lack of social support for left-behind children. |
