Study On The Work Of Overseas Friendship In Quanzhou

The work of overseas affairs is a long-term and important work that has far-reaching effects on China’s reform and opening-up and development.The work of overseas friendship is also the focus of overseas Chinese affairs.Overseas Chinese not only have strong economic power,but also have a large number of high-level talents.They are important channels for our country to introduce capital,advanced technology and qualified personnel;they are important forces for implementing the reform and opening-up policy and building an innovative country.Overseas friendship is an important way to transform overseas resources of overseas Chinese into actual resources.Applying Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,using the research methods of literature research,investigation and study,case analysis and comparative analysis,this paper takes Quanzhou Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office’s overseas friendship work as an example,affirms the effectiveness,and then analyses the defects.The main contents are: In the new age and the new situation,the work of overseas friendship encounters the rise of the "Internet plus" age,the mobility of overseas Chinese affairs resources,the weaker and weaker recognition from the new generation of overseas Chinese,and the challenges from other areas.Aiming at the deficiencies in the work of overseas friendship of the new generation of overseas Chinese,the lack of the cooperation with other overseas Chinese organizations and so on,the work of overseas friendship shows old-fashioned and unsustainable.The main reason is that the work of overseas friendship lacks innovation,only focuses on short-term results,lacks awareness of collaboration,has weak specialization and so on.Finally,drawing from Xiamen and Wenzhou which carry on good overseas friendship works,this paper proposes the suggestion such as innovates the working ways maintains the overseas resources,makes closer cooperation with other overseas Chinese department,enhances comprehensive quality of the workers.
