Study On The Management And Service Of Overseas Chinese Affairs In Wencheng County From The Perspective Of Overseas Chinese Affairs

Wencheng County is the second largest home of overseas Chinese in Zhejiang Province.There are 168,000 overseas Chinese,distributed in more than 70 countries and regions,among which more than 95% live in Italy,Holland,France and other economically developed European countries.With 73,000 returned overseas Chinese and their families,the overseas Chinese involved population accounts for 60% of the registered population in Wencheng County.In recent years,affected by the outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia,the improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength and other factors,overseas Chinese affairs objects’ demands for services related to overseas Chinese show a trend of diversification.The departments of overseas Chinese affairs need to innovate their management and service methods,keep pace with The Times,gather the voice of the overseas Chinese community,gather the wisdom of the overseas Chinese community,collect the strength of the overseas Chinese community,safeguard the rights and interests of overseas Chinese,and improve the service level for overseas Chinese.Through the specific work of overseas Chinese affairs and the communication with overseas Chinese affairs objects,this study learned that the management and service work of overseas Chinese affairs in Wencheng County has been carried out in an orderly manner,but it still cannot meet the growing demand for public services related to overseas Chinese affairs objects.On the one hand,this study used questionnaires and interviews to understand the cognition of overseas Chinese affairs subjects on the management and service of overseas Chinese affairs in Wencheng County,such as the development of various work and satisfaction.On the other hand,I conducted interviews with overseas Chinese affairs workers to sort out the difficulties and problems encountered in the work of overseas Chinese affairs in Wencheng County.In order to sort out the problems in the work of overseas Chinese affairs in Wencheng County,such as the absence of protection of the rights and interests of overseas Chinese enterprises,information barriers in the government service departments,and imperfect services for the elderly,the advanced experience of other overseas Chinese hometowns is referred to,under the guidance of the concept of overseas Chinese affairs,and under the realistic background of integrating overseas Chinese affairs management and service in the current service-oriented government construction,and focusing on service,Suggestions were put forward to improve overseas Chinese related policies and regulations,coordinate overseas Chinese affairs forces,deepen service awareness,and coordinate overseas Chinese affairs resources,so as to effectively improve the management and service level of overseas Chinese affairs in Wencheng County.Overseas Chinese affairs in Wencheng County are rich in resources and have a long history,which is representative to a certain extent.By studying the management and service of overseas Chinese affairs in Wencheng County,it will provide reference for other regions to carry out research on local management and service of overseas Chinese affairs.
