A Study On The Value Realization Of Retired Cadres

In the process of socialist modernization and reform and opening up, retired cadres are the wealth of the party and the state and do utmost to contribute to the cause of the Party and the mass. With the increasing problem of aging, the state advocates "active aging" and maximizes the positive impact of the elder on social development. The elder themselves ask for more material and spiritual needs. Retired cadres, special ones in the elderly group, also have increasing development requirements. Giving play to the role of veteran cadres, supporting and encouraging retired veteran cadres to realize their value, not only can solve many existing problems in society,but also can create a good atmosphere and more wealth for the community. With the continuous development of China's market economy and deepening of the economic system reform and social structure, ideology of people and the ideological situation and lifestyles of retired cadres all have changed. When old cadres act positively, new problems still appeared in the society, which limits value realization of them.This paper lists relevant literatures on retired cadres at home and abroad,summarizes the current situation and problems of the available articles about retired cadres meanwhile and investigates the retired in C city of Jiangsu Province to carry on empirical analysis of their surplus value and value realization. Questionnaires reveal that main factors restricting value realization are the restraint of ideology, lack of organized development, the platform and effective information channel and guaranteed sound system. It includes improvement of laws and regulations and promotion of typical examples, building the platform and enriching ways of value realization, such as old universities, social and cultural organizations for the elder and establishment and improvement of the elder volunteer service organizations.
