Research On E-government WeChat Status And Development

According to the Tencent WeChat team released report in the 2017 WeChat Pro vesion open class,“2016 WeChat data report”.It shows that,cut-off the dates of September 2016,the average number of WeChat daily active users has reached 768 million,and 50% of these users who is using WeChat more than 90 minutes every day.Notably,WeChat is trickling integrated into people's daily life,which brings the society into a WeChat era.WeChat's rapid development and popularization provides government and related service a new development space.Since 2013,the Chinese E-government WeChat is under a dramatic development,more than 100,000 official accounts come out.It transfers government service from off-line to the online,migrating the traditional government services to the mobile Internet terminal,and capable to reach the public for a new era of “Digital government service”.E-government WeChat provides a huge convenience for assessing information,business process,consulting policy.In addition,it turns into a new platform for information disclosure,a new path for public services and new channel of social interactions.While,E-government WeChat as a new entry,it is inevitable to confront with some problems and challenges during the process,such as the imbalanced development,unclear functional positioning,uneven quality,improper communication between government and the public,shortage of guiding ability for public opinions,duplicate service function and etc.In order to solve these problems,this paper puts forward with six corresponding development strategies for the be constructive and perceptiveness: 1)create the collaborative linkage for holistic planning;2)exact accurate positioning of E-government WeChat functions;3)establish an E-government WeChat management system;4)pay attention and improve the E-government WeChat service quality;5)organize a high-quality professional team to strengthen the cooperation between government and enterprises;6)enhance the ability to lead the public opinion and cultural construction.This thesis is based on the theory of new public service,the theory of government tools,network society theory,the use and gratifications approach.The research is using the method of literature review,survey and cases study.It is on the basis of E-government WeChat's concept,characteristics,current situation and function,which is used to explore and summarize the problem of the E-government WeChat process and put forward for the corresponding development strategy.This paper is included five parts: first part is the introduction;the second part is the concept and theoretical basis of the E-government WeChat;the third part is the development of E-government WeChat status and function analysis;the fourth part is the development of government WeChat in the process of the problems and the reasons for the analysis;The fifth part is the discuss of the E-government WeChat development paths.Following with the development of “Internet +” wave,E-government WeChat is expected to become a new "Internet + government" tool,along with broad development prospects.At present,China's E-government WeChat construction and development has made some achievements,but there are still many problems and shortcomings.Therefore,it is essential to bring government,public and enterprises together to engaged with the further developments of E-government WeChat.
