Build The Long-term Mechanism Of Urumqi Social Stability Study

At present,Xinjiang is in active period of violent and terrorist activities,maximum mobility period of anti-splitting struggle,growing pains period of interventional treatment.Religious extreme thoughts penetrate and spread,violent and terrorist activities break frequently,these factors seriously endanger the national unity,undermine the ethnic unity,and threaten the life and property of all ethnic groups.In the second Central Xinjiang Work Forum,Xi Jinping,the general secretary,clarify that the general goal of work in Xinjiang is “ social stability,lasting political stability”.In order to achieve this goal,we need to lay a foundation which is based on the reality of Xinjiang,and sum up the management and experience of the work in Xinjiang,then we can solve the outstanding problems and establish a long-term mechanism.As the economic and political center of Xinjiang Autonomous Region,Urumqi is the main battlefield and the main position of anti-terrorism and stability-maintaining of Xinjiang,and it is also the main goal for domestic and foreign violent and terrorist organization and religious extremist force to implement violent and terrorist activities,fission and infiltrate.How to achieve the social stability in Urumqi is related to the overall situation of stability in Xinjiang.In recent years,Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government of Urumqi has done a lot of work in the maintenance of social stability,the service mode of innovation community management,strengthen the management of floating population and religious affairs,and constantly improve the maintenance of stable working mechanism,these deeds achieved good results.But it should also be clear to see that there are still some weak links in the maintenance of stability in Urumqi,these links need to be resolved gradually.This paper analyzes and constructs the long-term mechanism of social stability in Urumqi through the introduction of the characteristics of violent and terrorist activities in Xinjiang,situation-stabilizing,the existing problems of maintaining social stability mechanism in Urumqi.
