The Study On The Development Of Community

This is often undeniable fact that disabled group is a vulnerable group,as it is also true that the development of social security and community service for disabled person has relation with the process of build the harmonious society.The disabled can keep pace with the nation to realize the grand goal of constructing an affluent society,it is the common hope of the nation,government,social workers for the disabled citizens.Recently,the undertakings for disabled have improved markedly in every aspect under the guidance of party and the state.But there is great gap in the disabled compared with normal person in the life.In this text,on the basis of comparing and analyzing the development history and approach model in community-based rehabilitation,it is analyzed the condition and requirement from the disabled in Suzhou district under the frame of community-based rehabilitation using the questionnaire,which contains the services about education,employment,social insurance,rehabilitation,barrier free accessibilities,culture and sports.An interview investigation was carried out from the disabled and their family members,the staff of community association for disabled and the staff of community-based rehabilitation demonstration station using the interviewing methods.The operation status of Community Rehabilitation Demonstration Station in Suzhou district was learned more information in this interview and investigation.It was raised the problem existed in community-based rehabilitation in Suzhou district at present,which based on the new public service theory and social welfare enterprise correlation elementary theory connecting with the practical situation.The research results showed that,the special fund was pumped into community-based rehabilitation scarcely and the development grew unequally;the service was still passive and it was involved a narrow contents;it was lack the professionals servicing community-based rehabilitation;most the disabled their own state of mind was pessimistic and didn't have enough realization.Based on the results of the research,it is acknowledged the improvement in many aspects: the number of community rehabilitation demonstration station should be increased,and accomplish the balanced development;based on the service function,and enrich the community service content;strengthen special personnel of community service training and introduction;vigorously carry out publicity and education the universal knowledge of signification of community-based rehabilitation.
