Research On Elderly Home Care In Community

Today’s china,with the rapid development of aging,is facing a huge pension burden.The pension problem is a huge livelihood issue,it has become the social hot issues which need to be solved properly,to solve this problem has a fundamental role in the long-term and development of society.Shijiazhuang,as the capital of Hebei Province,the pace development of aging is at the front of the province,which is facing a more serious pension problem.In the 1908’s,the one-child policy has been implemented,the first batch of one-child parents have entered the ranks of the elderly.The pressure of family support for the elderly increased,at the same time,the development of pension institutions is slow.With the development of economy and society,the function of the community is gradually increasing.The elderly home care in community,which means the elderly can be provided aging service near their house,and can participate in community life,the family members can also take care of the elderly at any time.Its geographical,service characteristics,is also more acceptable to the elderly and their children,and is more in line with the traditional Chinese concept.In recent years,the elderly home care in community in Shijiazhuang is dominated by the government,which has introduced policies to encourage the development of community home care,The degree of participation of all sectors of society gradually deepened,the content and form of services increasingly diversified.However,compared with the well-developed cities,Shijiazhuang has a long way to go in the area of elderly home care in community.This paper focuses on the background of the aging problem,based on the analysis of domestic and foreign research results of elderly home care in community,puts forward the urgency of developing elderly home care in community service.And by reading the literature and policy files,issuing questionnaire survey to understand the status of the implementation of elderly home care in community services in Shijiazhuang and the service needs of the elderly in Shijiazhuang.This paper is based on the objective situation of Shijiazhuang,the elderly and their family members in some districts were investigated.According to the four practical problems of the community care in this city,including the lack of government support,the imbalance between care service supply and demand,the main roles of community home care needs to be further developed,and service team quality and ability is low.Based on the theories like welfare pluralism and community service,this paper learns from the advanced experience of community home care service at home and abroad,puts forward four main suggestions to further improve the problem of community home care in Shijiazhuang.This paper argues that the government should further increase the policy,capital and other aspects of support;to achieve the diversity of elderly home care in community;to explore the establishment of community endowment service mechanism of multi-party cooperation;to strengthen the construction of community endowment service employees.
