Research On Social Organizations Participating In Community Home-based Elderly Care Services ——Taking Z Community In S City As An Example

With the sustained development of economy and society and the continuous improvement of medical level,the life expectancy of China’s population is gradually increasing,and the number of elderly people is also rising.How to deal with the severe elderly care situation brought about by aging has become a hot issue in today’s society.At present,due to the trend of miniaturization of family structure and cross-regional employment of the young generation in China,the traditional family elderly care function is weakening,at the same time,the existing institutional elderly care services cannot meet the growing demand for elderly care.Under this situation,since the community home-based elderly care service combines the advantages of traditional elderly care and institutional elderly care,it not only accords with the old people’s traditional elderly care thought,but also enables the elderly to enjoy professional elderly care services nearby.Therefore,community home-based elderly care services is the key direction for the development of elderly care services in the future.In recent years,China’s social organizations have developed rapidly.Social organizations are characterized by professionalism,flexibility and public welfare,which enable them to efficiently integrate social elderly care service resources in the process of participating in the supply of elderly care services,provide elderly care services more in line with the real needs of the elderly,and make up for the shortage of elderly care service supply by families,the government and the market.Therefore,given that social organizations play a pivotal role in the provision of elderly care services,the state has issued many policies and measures to actively guide them,encourage and support social organizations to participate in community home-based elderly care services,and promote the healthy and sustainable development of community home-based elderly care service model.Due to the relatively immature development of social organizations in China and the late start of their participation in community home-based elderly care services,so the relevant research results are still relatively few.This paper selects A social organization’s participation in the home-based elderly care service of Z community in S city as a research case,aiming to find and solve problems through the analysis of typical cases,so as to make beneficial explorations for promoting the sustainable development of China’s elderly care industry.This paper adopts the methods of literature induction,questionnaire survey and case study to analyze the demand,supply and service satisfaction of home-based elderly care services in Z community,and affirms the good service results obtained by A social organization.Meanwhile,combined with literature research,it is found that there are many problems in the operation of social organizations,such as imperfect system design,inadequate internal and external supervision,shortage of operating funds and lack of professional talents.On this basis,the countermeasures and suggestions of perfecting relevant system design,establishing strict supervision system,expanding the source of organizational funds and attaching importance to the construction of talent team are put forward.
