Study On The Problem Of New Generation Migrant Laborer's Political Participation

With the rapid economic and social development in China, the number of new generation migrant laborers have become stronger, nearly 200 million people and accounted for 80% in the total number of migrant laborers, as the main force of migrant laborers, the number of them continue to grow in each year. They have become the main components of various professions in China, and made great contribution to the China's urbanization construction, the promotion of economic level and improvement of living conditions of urban people. But, multiple factors such as urban-rural household register system, management system, interests expression mechanism, political participation cost, social environment, self-quality and so on, have caused the way of new generation migrant laborers' political participate become more and more difficult, theirs political participation level have suffered restricted severely, hard to maintain lawful rights and also lead which have severely disrupted the development of democracy and construction.achieving the social equity and maintaining the political stability and social harmony.Citizen's orderly participation in democracy politics, but also a significant symbol of realization of the rule of law in China. Is not only conducive to maintaining the social stability, but also the inevitable requirement of current economic and social development and democratic politics. However, the new generation migrant laborers in China were restricted by negative factors, which included low level, lack of benefits expression mechanism, congenital absence of its own condition. Therefore, the article proposes to overcome the obstacles according to the following measures: to improve the comprehensive quality of themselves; to establish and perfect the related laws and regulations and to create the benefit expression platform for the new generation migrant laborers.
