The formation and development of China's peasant-workers are closely related to its special background and economic system arrangements. Peasant-workers are a special group only in China. They witness the development of China, and make an extremely outstanding contribution their beloved homeland. After 30 years of reform and opening up, the number of peasant-workers has accumulated to approximately 2.4 billion. The current peasant-workers have not the used homogeneous group. The big-gest characteristic is appearing intergenerational differentiation: the first-generation of peasant-workers and the second-generation of peasant- workers, namely "the first-generation" and "the second-generation". Compared with the first-generation of peasant-workers, "the second-generation" group are eagerly appealing to citizenized, they are closed to urban citizens in the ways of consciousness, behavior etc.But because individuals system and market and other factors, they still belong to peasant-workers group.As time goes on, if they are not citizenized, it will be accumulated to a certain period and scale, which may lead to more serious social problems.Based on current development level and economic condition, the same as other China's reforms, the citizenization of peasant-workers are impossible to achieve the designated position. To solve this problem must be a gradually change process from easy to difficult.This paper using various research methods, in reference to domestic and international current research achievements to discuss and study the citizenization problem of the second-generation of peasant-workers. First, this paper analyses the emergence and development of peasant- workers from vertical historical perspective, and reveals the "second generation" groups'source and outlet, at the same time, introduce the urbanization practice of the international areas, both show that based on China's national condition, research advance "second generation" farmers citizenization is smart, practical necessity and feasibility; Then make an economic analysis on the Citizenization situation, required behavior and influencing factors. Based on this research it concluded that the citizenization of the "second generation" faced by three major challenges; Finally, according to the study, it puts forward some Suggestions and measures to boost the citizenization of the "second generation". |
