A Study On The Social Support Of Juvenile Community Correction

This paper selected 15 teenagers in community correction as the research object,take the social support as the research topics.With the social support theory,summarized the demand conditions from security needs,social needs and respect needs.Then analyzed the informal social support and formal social support on the material support,psychological support,life care and development of support,andevaluated the support effect.Concluded three characteristics:informal support become weakening,the lack of formal social support,the individual’s attitude has become an important factor affecting their social support acquisition.Then analyzed the limited ability of informal social support:the alienation of the original relationship and the lack of trust.Formal social support problems include the lack of relevant laws and regulations,to explain the competent departments responsibility is not clear and so on,government support measures are not fully implemented,the limitations of professional support,the low level of social acceptance and the exclusion of support.Finally,the author puts forward some suggestions to perfect the social support of the group.For the informal social support:guide of juvenile community correction objects in the right understanding of the support and strengthen the main body of the group emotional support;for the formal social support:implement policies laws and regulations,Strengthen support cooperation between the various management department and enhance the level of "stigmatized".
