Community Correction System In China

However, with the community correction in China continues to start, gradually revealed a variety of problems, our study outside the community correction is not enough depth for community correction theory, research practice has yet to be improved, most experts and scholars also put forward opinions blindly learn from developed countries, does not proceed from our national conditions, we recommend the study of institution building and practice proposed is also not perfect.Community Corrections is a complex and systematic project, which requires extensive participation of society, gathered force in society, work together to build community correction system with Chinese characteristics. This task is not only imperative but also to build legal and policy requirements of the criminal, it is constructed of Community Corrections justice system a top priority. Therefore, the author analyze and compare relevant information from the stage theory of Community Correction, which made some of their own rationalization proposals.In this paper, the author uses a theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, after the presentation the actual operating conditions of Community Corrections, summed up the shortcomings of Community Corrections in the current environment, the presence, by telling extraterritorial countries successful experiences in this regard, development ofthe system summed up the reasons behind, mainly because of community correction system started late, early doctrine concept deeply rooted cause behind people’s ideas,it is difficult to adapt to non-custodial sentence pattern, generally not very high degree of social recognition in addition, the legislation is not perfect is also an important reason for lagging development. Therefore, I believe, tangible improvement of community correction system, let it play a better effect is particularly important. At the same time, it was also focused on case studies, summed up the successful experience of the first-tier cities, to lay the foundation for future community correction in the nationwide implementation.
