As an important mediating variable to deal with working pressure, social support is sufficient to release working pressure, and along with relevant studies advancing, many scholars have taken social support as a strategy to deal with working pressure to bring it into study. Taking township civil servants as object, this paper studies their working pressure and social support, which could not only enrich the theory study of relevant fields, but also provide efficient support and help for unity and group pressure management of civil servants.Harmful public consensus, people’s incoordination to their work, continuously increasing working pressure, and such factors of complex social environment; one person undertaking many work parts, overlapping leadership phenomenon, unclear role factors like unclear targets; work-itself factors like overload work, uncertain working time; negative group atmosphere like bad working environment, defective promotion mechanism, imperfect training system, unchallenging working participation; interpersonal relationship factors like disharmonious relationship with superiors, subordinators, colleges and popular; all of these are pressure source factors resulting in township civil servants’working pressure, and if we cannot suit remedy to the case and remove theses pressure sources timely and effectively, it doom to decrease township civil servants’ working efficiency and cause damage to their physical and psychological health.It requires township civil servants themselves make adjustments and government organizations provide attention and help and also valid social support to have efficient management for township civil servants’ working pressure. So, township civil servants should start from their own and have a correct role definition for their work, and withstand stresses with a positive attitude; then, they should endeavor to improve their capacities, make reasonable plans for their occupations in accordance with their working capacity; lastly, release working pressure rationally through methods like physical training, more communication with friends and relatives and so on. Township governments should pay enough attention to township civil servants’ working pressure, and at the same time start from consummating systems of personnel, payment, promotion, training, et al, and optimizing daily work, to release township civil servants’ working pressure. Meanwhile, as for social aspect, we should construct a positive and affirmative social consensus atmosphere for township civil servants, establish harmonious and effective interpersonal relationship system, and at the same provide working pressure consultant as an assistant, to help township civil servants get rid of pressure dilemma through various methods.
