Researches On Hanfu In Hanshu

Hanshu is the dynastic history about the Western Han dynasty written by Ban Gu.As the historical records of the Han dynasty,Hanshu includes not only the important political articles,but also the most representative literary style at that time,which is called Han Fu.Taking Han Fu as researching target,the thesis explores the related Han Fu in all the possible materials,including Hanshu Yiwenzhi Shifulve,Hanshu Biography etc.Based on the work of former scholars,as well as the Fu works written by Ban Gu,the thesis concludes the reason why Han Fu could be included in Hanshu,the perspective of Ban Gu,as well as the key role that Hanshu plays in the classicization of Han Fu.The first chapter is a brief introduction about Han Fu.Consisting of three sections,the chapter firstly looks into the Han Fu in Hanshu Yiwenzhi.By researching the conditions of the Fu as well as the writers,the thesis highlights the attention that Ban Gu pays to Han Fu and analyses the classification of Hanzhi Shifulve.By comparing the Fu in Hanshu and Hanzhi,the thesis reveals the Fu selection in Hanshu.At the end of this chapter,the thesis concludes the reasons why Han Fu was included in Hanshu,which are the selection of Han Fu literature,the selected Fu writers,as well as the selected Fu works.The second chapter mainly discusses the standard of selecting Fu works in Han Fu,as well as Ban Gu's writing perspective.Based on the former chapter,this chapter draws the conclusion that Hanshu prefers those works which describes the beautiful life in the Han dynasty,and declines those works which deviate the worldly manner,for example,amusement,Paiyou,luxury etc.Based on Ban Gu's works,the thesis summarizes his writing perspective,including the styles,forms,and contents.Finally,the thesis analyses the formulation of Ban Gu's writing perspective from three parts,which includes time,the writer's condition as well as the development of culture.The third chapter examines the role that Hanshu plays in the classicization of Han Fu.The thesis emphasizes the foundation that Hanshu lays in the conservation and screening of Han Fu,which contributes to the classicization in the future generation.Moreover,the comments of Han Fu in Hanshu affect the circulation in the future generation,which is revealed in the following aspects,including the recording of writing backgrounds,comments on particular Fu writers,circulation of biography in the future generation etc.It can also been seen in the comparative evaluation mode and social functions in commenting Fu.Finally,by collecting all the related statistics including comparing of selected editions,discussion of Fu sentences as well as modern literary articles,the thesis lists all the famous Han Fu writers and works.The results turns out similar to those appearing in Hanshu.
