Many contents of ZhouYi was cited in composing HanShu .The citation is a natural phenomenon of the language and culture, and is irrelevant to typical Yi theory morphology. This would give us another perspective how ZhouYi influenced the Han dynasty history and culture. ZhouYi is a marvelous classic, which evolved from a divination book to one of the most important classics in China. It is a living testimony to the course of the progress and development of Chinese civilization. People have been searching for wisdom from ZhouYi and enriching Yi doctrine with the wisdom constantly in the course. HanShu is a good example. It can be concluded that main function of ZhouYi has changed from superstitious witchcraft augur to rational theoretical guidance through the condition that HanShu cited from ZhouYi. This shift of function focus indicated the progress of people's thinking patterns from superstition to rationality in practical application of ZhouYi. Divination was not necessary for deciding the future destiny and gradually faded in people's rational minds process because those principles of living and behaving are self-evident. After we attempt to exercise a certain act, the result is mainly decided by social ethics and legal principle at this social environment which possesses more reasonable structure, well ordered organization and more efficient management. This indicates progress of the mankind civilization. When the results of augur can not change people's fate, the mysterious of augur has gradually elapsed. Meanwhile instructional function of rational factors in ZhouYi has become more and more important. These principle have many effects, such as being worldly-wise and making oneself safe, or improving quality of people's life, or achieving personal life values, or realizing certain life ideal. Vivid examples to all of above can be found in HanShu citations from ZhouYi.
