The Research On The Application Of "Rain Classroom" In The Teaching Of Newspaper Reading Course Of Advanced Chinese

In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,newspaper reading course of advanced Chinese is a Chinese language skill course for senior level foreign students.Because of the complexity and variety of newspaper articles,strong professionalism,large vocabulary,long sentences,and difficulties in language,newspaper reading of advanced Chinese has become more difficult to teach and learn Chinese as a foreign language,which may easily make students feel boring and uninteresting and result in their poor learning effects.In order to enhance the interaction between teachers and students and improve the quality of teaching,the author has introduced a mixed teaching software "Rain Class" as an auxiliary and extension of classroom teaching during the period when the author served as a teacher of newspaper reading course of the senior B1 and B2 classes in the School of Chinese Studies,Dalian University of Foreign Languages.The author utilized the "Rain Classroom" to make a mobile version teaching courseware through which class attendances,on-line practices,discussions and news feeds were organized and carried out.The thesis analyzes the new learning mode of "mobile learning" and discusses the application of "Rain Classroom" in the newspapers reading class of advanced Chinese.Furthermore,taking the teaching design of the tenth lesson in the textbook "Network Times" as an example,this paper combines observations,interviews and tests,based on classroom teaching practices and students' feedbacks,to verify the assistant function of “Rainbow Classroom” in the teaching of newspaper reading course of advanced Chinese,and conduct reflections and improvements on teaching strategies.
