Report On Translation Of "The Little Furry Ones That Slide Down Hill"

Children's literature plays a very important role in the development and growth of children.The translations of children's literature are important components of children's literature.However,children's literature,especially translations of children's literature,are still at the marginal position in the literary system at present.Therefore,more attention should be paid to children's literary translation,and appropriate methods and strategies should be used to obtain good translations.Based on the translation project of "The Little Furry Ones That Slide Down Hill",the first chapter of Children of the Wild,this report describes and summarizes the whole translation process.This report is mainly composed of four parts.The translation task description is a basic summary and introduction of the translation project.The description of translation process includes the preparation of translation,the choice of translation theories and translation skills,proofreading and revision after translation.Translation theory and case analysis are the main body and the core content of the whole report.The last part is a summary of the translation practice which reflects on the entire translation process,and briefly talks about the achievements in the translation project and the guidance for future work.
