Layout design is an important link of graphic design. It organizes and arranges all the visual elements in graphic design,so as to enhance the effective transmission of layout information. At the same time,it also makes graphic design more visual aesthetic. How to convey the layout information clearly and accurately better and make its content more acceptable to the audience is the most main problems that need to be paid attention in the graphic design work.Based on the Gestalt psychology and its development theory, this paper discusses and studies the application and practice of Gestalt in layout design.According to understand the principle of visual perception of people, and how these principles, human cognition and psychology influence or interact each other.Founding that the potential of the layout of regular,in order to improve and promote the rational knowledge of layout design, provide theoretical guidance for the innovation and development of the layout.Kurt Koffka 1886-1941,in his book "Principles of Gestalt Psychology",systematically analyzes the principle of gestalt, which lays a good foundation for the research of this paper and becomes a strong support for the theoretical part of this paper.Rudolf Arnheimn 1904-1994,in his book "Art and Visual Perception",deeply analyzed and studied the theoretical basic concepts and application of visual perception. In this paper, using the method of literature collection, through the study of a large number of domestic and foreign experts on the theory of gestalt psychology and the development of literature periodicals, books data, the introduction of the theory of gestalt psychology and its developing makes adequate arguments and case material preparation;Using empirical analysismethod, through the way of combining theory and practical cases,in-depth analysis of the theory of gestalt psychology and the development principle of visual perception, its application in the practice of the layout of creation; The principle of visual perception is analyzed by inductive thinking mode, and deductive logic thinking is adopted in layout design.Firstly, this paper analyzes the basic concepts and basic theories of gestalt psychology and its development theory.Secondly, based on the principle of visual perception, this paper analyzes the relationship between the figure bottom, order and harmony, balance theory, simplified theory and combinatorial theor.Based on the theory of gestalt psychology and the development law of visual perception, sums up the four basic principles of published graphic design elements: simplify the principle of reducing the cognitive cost, the bottom of the figure to clarify the order, the principle of similarity and proximity to refine the similar information, build the rhythm and cadence combinational principle;Constituent elements and the formation of visual order: "effective integration relationship of point, line and plane","dual function" of the text elements, the graphic elements of "subject awareness","prophet" color elements;Symbolic features of the elements: the core symbols that enhance the memory, the text symbols that attract the attention of the audience, the graphic symbols that are concise and concise; Finally, the visual perception rules of gestalt psychology and its development theory are applied to layout design.Through the research of this paper, the designer can fully understand and pay attention to the cognitive and psychological characteristics of the person, and apply it to the layout of the layout better.Based on the relevant theories of gestalt psychology, this paper understands the psychology of gestalt and its visual perception, and provides theoretical guidance for the design of layout that is more consistent with human cognition and psychology.
