Removal

This documentary records the removal experience of several migrant people after a big fire at Xinjian Village of Daxing District,Beijing,on November 18,2017.The documentary followed up and filmed several migrant people who come from different provinces and live in different districts of Beijing.It calmly recorded the process of packing luggage and finding accommodations within days or even hours after receiving notifications.Those people's understanding of this citywide removal,helplessness of frequent removals,and confusion about future,are gradually presented in the shooting process.Behind migrant people's removal and departure is Beijing's effort to ease non-capital functions in recent years.
