With the implementation and development of Belt and Road strategy,and the motivation of global "Chinese fever" wave,the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is booming.Teaching Chinese as a foreign language includes the phonetics,Chinese characters,vocabulary and grammar teaching.Among them,the teaching of pronunciation,vocabulary and grammar is developing vigorously and has established its own system.However,the teaching of Chinese characters has encountered the bottleneck and remains stagnant.Due to the complex structure,changeable meaning and more strokes,Chinese characters teaching has become a big challenge.In the modern Chinese characters,the phonogram takes the largest proportion.The phonogram is a combination of “font,sound and meaning” with obvious regularity,and the most prominent feature of phonogram is that the ideograph element can express the meaning and phonetic element can indicate pronunciation.In the primary Chinese class,how to stimulate the students’ learning enthusiasm,how to cultivate students’ literacy skills and how to eliminate their learning anxiety are the noticeable problems in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Therefore,helping students to grasp the feature of phonogram---the ideograph element expresses the meaning and the phonetic element indicates its sound---not only is beneficial for teachers to teach the Chinese characters,but also lays a good foundation for the future study of foreign students.This paper takes phonogram teaching as the research object,applies the taskbased teaching method to the primary Chinese reading and writing class,emphasizes “learning from doing”,and obeys the rule so as to reduce the students’ learning anxiety and let the students really know how to pronounce when they see the character and know its meaning.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is prolegomenon.It mainly elaborates the research background,the research status,the research contents and the research theory.The second part is an overview of task-based teaching method.It briefly summarizes the definition and features,the teaching principles and the feasibility of applying task-based teaching method to the primary Chinese reading and writing class.The third part is the general introduction and statistics of the phonogram.It introduces the definition,structure and function of the phonogram.And then,it makes a statistics of phonogram.By consulting a large number of data,the primary Chinese characters in Grade Division are selected as the research text.At the same time,combining with the Chinese comprehensive course,it calculates the number of phonogram.It provides a reference for the the teaching design of phnongram.The fourth part is the questionnaire on the foreign students who are learning Chinese characters.It is to learn about the major problems and difficulties of foreign students in the learning Chinese characters and to analyze the questionnaire data to draw a preliminary conclusions.The fifth part is the most important part of this paper.It is mainly about the teaching design of the phonogram.Based on the questionnaire,according to the analysis,the teaching design of Chinese phonetic characters is made and then the concrete phonogram teaching practice and the final teaching reflection are conducted.The last part is the conclusion.It summarizes the practical effect of task-based teaching method applied to the teaching design of phonogram,finds its advantages and disadvantages,and hopes to provide some suggestions for the teaching of Chinese character as a foreign language in the future. |
