China has 5,000 years of civilization history and preserved ancient towns and temples become very valuable tourism resources,liked by a lot of tourists.In recent years,more and more tourists favor of religious tourism.Meanwhile,a large number of religious tourist attractions are also being developed.As these religious resources flourish,commercialization has been quietly occupied these areas.These drawbacks of excessive commercialization,cultural erosion began to appear.Shaolin temple,as one of the famous religious tourist destinations in China,as a temple of ChanZong and a Kung Fu resort,has high historical,cultural and tourism value.Shaolin Temple brings visitors a rich experience of tourism,which brings a lot of economic benefits to local governments and residents,Shaolin Temple has also brought a lot of commercial controversy.Taking Shaolin Temple as a typical case,and summarizes the development process of Shaolin Temple commercialization,and explores the influence of commercialization on tourists,which is necessary for Shaolin Temple.It also provides some help and inspiration for the commercialization of other religious tourism destinations.Based on reviews the relevant literature of commercialization,religious tourism and Shaolin Temple,further understanding of this field.And defines the concepts of commercialization,religious tourism in this article lays the foundation for the following research.Through case study,the article takes Shaolin Temple as a typical case of religious tourism destination.Through the study and investigation of the Shaolin Temple commercialization,this article analyzes the causes of the commercial development of Shaolin Temple and the tourists' attitude of the commercialization of Shaolin Temple.This article mainly uses the documentary secondary data method,the Observation method,the Interview method and the Questionnaire survey method four kinds of methods.Through the review of the commercial development of Shaolin Temple and the status quo,we can find out that the commercial development of Shaolin Temple is characterized by time and development structure.Analysis of the causes of the formation of the commercialization of Shaolin Temple from the perspective of stakeholders,from the movie "Shaolin Temple" and Jin Yong related martial arts propaganda has aroused great interest of visitors is the external demand;to abbot Shi Yongxin as the representative of the Shaolin temple is the power source of the Shaolin Temple commercial rapid development;local residents and government for their own interests support the development of the Shaolin temple commercialization.Through questionnaires and interviews,we analyze the tourists' attitude of the commercialization of Shaolin Temple,the evaluation of the specific commercial phenomenon of Shaolin Temple is closely related to the tourists' evaluation of the overall atmosphere of Shaolin Temple and the overall satisfaction of Shaolin Temple.The lower the degree of recognition of the specific commercial phenomenon of Shaolin Temple,the higher the overall atmosphere of Shaolin Temple commercialization,the lower the overall satisfaction of Shaolin Temple.The religious background of tourists has an impact on the commercial judgment of Shaolin Temple.The religious belief for Buddhist tourists is lower for the commercialization of Shaolin Temple,and the satisfaction is higher.Through factor analysis and regression analysis,it is found that tourists' evaluation of the commercial operation of Shaolin Temple itself has more influence on the overall satisfaction of tourists in Shaolin Temple scenic area.Through the questionnaire survey,data analysis and interview results,combined with the observation and literature research in Shaolin Temple,the conclusion is more practical and helpful and guidance for the future development of Shaolin Temple.Based on the conclusions of the study,the suggestions are:Shaolin Temple should control commercial scale;strengthen its positive publicity;develop Shaolin Temple features and enhance tourist experience;differentiate Buddhism believers and conduct classified reception.
