Self-disclosure refers to the individual oral expression of his/her own information to others,and it plays an important role in the development and maintenance in certain intimate relationship.Found in previous studies,the level of self-disclosure is the very important factor with individual physical,mental health,subjective well-being,loneliness and others.This study we used Harbin and Bengbu high school students as participants,investigate high school students peer self-disclosure,perceived social support how to influnce on loneliness,in order to discover the relationship between these three factors.Results:1.adolescent companion self-disclosure questionnaire,perceived social support scale and loneliness scale have good reliability and validity of questionnaire in this research,conform to the surveying requirements.2.High school students’ self-disclosure level differed in demographic variables:In the group of same-sex friends,the females’ self-disclosure level was significantly higher than the males’;in the group of opposite-sex friends,self-disclosure level among Harbin students was significantly higher than Bengbu’s;in the group of normal friends,the males’ was significantly higher than the females’ and Harbin’s was significantly higher than Bengbu’s.3.Generally,the comprehension of social support of high school students reached a considerable high level,while the females’ better than the males’ and Harbin’s better than Bengbu’s.4.The level of high school students’ loneliness was moderate without any gender differences,and the level of Bengbu students was significantly higher than Harbin students.5.There was a significant negative correlation between self-disclosure and loneliness,which was nothing to do with the disclosure group.Also there was a significant negative correlation between comprehension of social support and loneliness.6.Friends’ self-disclosure has a predictive effect onto loneliness.7.Comprehension of social support generated a significant mediating effect between peer self-disclosure and loneliness,and was a mediator variable between friend self-disclosure and loneliness.
